What are crash dumps?

Crash dumps are a file that contains the necessary information the developers will need to correctly identify exactly what caused the crash. It's a very valuable tool in helping the developers figure out what went wrong.

How do I get the crash dump file?

Open GTA Connected launcher and choose "Open" at the bottom left, then select "Crashes". A folder window will appear with the dumps from any crashes from GTA Connected.

What should I do if the game crashes?

Report the bug on our bug tracker. Take the crash dump file using the instructions above and attach it to the bug report. Please select the game you crashed on, include details on what happened right before the game crashed (example: "entered a taxi vehicle") and what server you were connected to when the game crashed (if connected to one).
