What is it?

GTA Connected's launcher has full language support, and any available languages in the Launcher settings is provided by community members.

How do I use it?

Open the GTA Connected launcher. Choose Tools > Launcher Settings. A new window will appear. In it, switch to the "Language" tab. You can select a language from there.

Can I provide a translation?

Yes! Download the English translation file and open it in any standard text or code editor like notepad. See the "translation instructions" section below. If you need help, contact a member of the GTA Connected team, either on the GTA Connected discord server or forum. We accept all languages, and we'll answer any questions you have and help you get started. When you finish the translation, send it to a GTAC team member and it will be applied on the next GTA Connected client update.

Notes about translating

  • Each line is split into two parts, key and text. The key is the part before the equals sign (=). Don't translate the key. The software uses that key to know which texts to use.

  • Lines that start with a hashtag (#) are called comments and are used in the translation files to show different sections. Please don't translate these lines

  • Some texts contain an ampersand (&). That symbol represents an ALT-key shortcut to select it. Here's an example: menu_File=&File ... This will enable ALT+F to select the File menu in the launcher. This doesn't need to be the first letter of the word(s), it can be any letter in it. Please put the ampersand symbol before the letter that makes most sense in the translation.
